We’re on a mission to create a brand where you see your values in the items you own. Values we share with you. Along with the concept of hygge, sustainability is core to the hyooba brand. We are on a learning journey as a small business beginning to untangle how to approach sustainability in the fashion industry. While we can’t always promise to be perfect, we promise to be transparent. Please join us in assuming positive intent, and we are always open to learning more about how we can do better.

PEOPLE

Choose solutions that support people and society.

From the partners who create our base products, to the printers in the printing facilities and of course our end consumers, we value our people at the beginning, middle and end of our product journey. Each step of the way the needs of these people is factored into the decisions we make.

Under this pillar, we also hope to create a movement by bringing together like-minded folks who care equally about protecting the planet, supporting more sustainable fashion practices and spreading the hygge-inspired message of living in the moment. With these ideas in mind and by finding a shared community, we hope to create our own small ripple of positive societal impact together.

PLANET

Stay grounded in our inspiration–the breath-taking nature of the Pacific Northwest.

Our materials, supply chain, distribution and packaging all have an impact on the environment. The very environment that inspired us to start this brand.

We are happy that our products are made to order, minimizing waste. We celebrate that they are created with either organic cotton, U.S. grown cotton and/or recycled polyester. However, our biggest growth area is in our packaging. While a majority of our packaging is cardboard, paper and/or post-consumer recycled plastic, we can not guarantee 100% of our packaging to meet these sustainability standards. Some of our products, depending on location, ship in poly mailers. And we’re not at peace with that. Addressing our packaging is a top priority for us and first up in our road map of issues to solve.

PROFIT

Use profits for good, for education and for a better economy.

A profitable business to us is one where returns can be reinvested to bring a better product to our customers. One that allows us the financial freedom to explore and bring creative, sustainable ideas directly to you. One where we share our profits for good, such as giving back to nature. We are in the process of obtaining our membership to 1% For The Planet and are excited to update you on our progress when we are able to make this a reality.

The biggest vote we all have is with our dollar. By supporting small businesses and eco-friendly businesses, you make a vote for an economy that is based on just that—more small, sustainable businesses. We are here to show sustainability can be profitable while helping to educate and grow demand for environmentally and socially conscious choices along the way.

    As a member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, SOL'S joins a global effort to minimize the environmental impact of the textile industry, with ISO-certified logistics and energy management.
